As a Vaasan Sähköverkko customer, you can receive information about power outages, their causes, and durations directly to your mobile phone via a free text message service. You can subscribe to the service for your home, holiday cottage, business, and other locations.
How to subscribe to the service
You can conveniently subscribe to the service in the Vaasan Sähkö mobile app
or
Send a text message start customer number metering point ID (e.g. start 12345 000000123456) to number 16126.
You can find your customer and metering point ID numbers on your electricity bill. The text message service cannot be ordered for foreign phone subscriptions or premium-rate numbers.
How to cancel the service
You can conveniently cancel the service in the Vaasan Sähkö mobile app
or
Send a text message stop customer number metering point ID (e.g. start 12345 000000123456) to number 16126.
If your mobile phone number changes, please first cancel your current subscription and then order the text message service again with your new contact details.
The service can be cancelled via the mobile app or from the same phone number from which it was originally ordered.
