* In addition, electricity taxes are levied on distribution, which are in tax category I = 2.325 cents/kWh + VAT 25.5% (= 2.917875 cents/kWh) and in tax category II = 0.135 cents/kWh + VAT 25.5% (= 0.169425 cents/kWh). Electricity tax category II can be applied for by places of electricity use that engage in industrial production, data center operations or professional greenhouse cultivation. Starting from July 1, 2026, tax category I will be applied on data centers.
** In place of the electricity vendor, the distribution system operator is responsible for correcting the user’s invoicing in situations specified in the Terms of Network Service 8.6.4. In these cases, we apply the Nordic electricity exchange’s Finnish area price (spot price), to which a margin of 0.4 c/kWh (incl. VAT 25.5%) is added.

Power-based electricity
The distribution product Power-based electricity, low voltage is intended for places of electricity use where the main fuses are larger than 63 A. Power-based electricity, medium voltage is intended for sites where the need for electrical power is high. With the medium voltage product, electricity is supplied with a medium voltage of 20 kV and requires that the customer has its own transformer substation.

Power-based medium voltage from April 1, 2026

*1) The power fee is billed monthly and is determined on the basis of the peak power of the highest measured 1-hour consumption over the last 12 months.
*2) The free share of reactive power input (inductive) is 40% and the free share of input (capacitive) is 10% of the peak power of the 1-hour consumption of each month.
